Every thing was as expected for first day but then elevator stopped working

The hotel was everything as we expected. The staff was friendly and looking to help you when ever needed. But the elevator stopped working on our 3rd day in hotel and rest of 3 days it was not working. The staff did not mind a lot if its not working and casully told us to use stairs for our room at 7th floor. I am not sure if they could not understand our complain or was prentending that way. Apart from that rooms were comfy and everything essential was available.

Stay at :Deluxe room Pros: big room, big toilet, with balcony, with sofa, with jacuzzi bath tub, big mirror, nice TV, comfortable stay, iron board, clean. Cons: simple breakfast, lobby not that "grand", mineral water NOT free. Summary, I'm quite comfortable and will choose this hotel again... Note: This A25 is formerly known as Silver Hotel.

Don't stay here if you can help it. The staff seemed totally perplexed about us checking in (even though we had made a reservation). The pillows smelled like urine. But the most annoying part was the level of noise the staff made all night, despite repeated requests for quiet because we were sleeping (between 11 - 3 am ... before 11 pm we just tolerated it). From cleaning the rooms right beside us (or doing something noisy in those rooms) after midnight, so running up and down the stairs yelling to each other and even sitting in our hallway playing music at 2 am (yes, we were woken up by the staff every couple hours), I had the worst sleep of my life here. There are so many better options in Hanoi at the same price point. This place is just not worth it.

We stayed in room 802. The stay was an unpleasant one. Water or some drainage kept dripping on the bed from the ceiling and we ended up with a very wet bed. It was also a torture to listen to the water dripping down every minute. We asked the hotel staff to check into it, he told us that the hotel was fully booked and if we wanted to change rooms, he shoved a price list of the rooms and told us that we have to pay for an upgrade to change to a better room! Although we had traveled extensively over many parts of Asia, it was our first experience in which we were asked to pay to upgrade to a better room because of a faulty room, which should clearly be the responsible of the hotel. We payed full for a leaky room. Checked out by 11pm on the same day we checked in. There was limited privacy because of an open slit for ventilation. We heard clearly some men shouting outside clearly, and banging doors. I was an unpleasant, intimidating experience. This is what we had for the stay: (1) Dirty room, floors were dusty and there were hair everywhere (2) Facility was very old and tired (3) Cups and teapots were wrapped in shrink wrap, with a price list. Pay for everything including tooth brush and toothpaste. (4) Google translate a must when communicating with hotel staff. Will stay away from this hotel.

ホアンキエム湖まで、毎日徒歩でゆきました。途中将棋をするひとたち、散髪の風景などが楽しめました。ホテル近くにもフォーの美味しい店がいくつもあることを教えてもらいました。またすぐ近くのカフェは、とても居心地がよく毎日通いました。コンビニなどは至近距離にはないので、見つけた時に購入しておいた方が良いでしょう。
